Job summary

Select Source International in Orlando seeks a Project Buyer Expeditor to drive tactical procurement and on-time Purchase Orders for multiple turbine projects. You will partner with internal customers to ensure timely, compliant sourcing and solve daily supply issues.

You will apply SAP and Excel expertise, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to process improvements across global teams, while maintaining documentation and adherence to P2P practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in direct procurement.
• Strong SAP transactional experience.
• Outstanding Excel skills.
• Team player who can work independently to meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate in a fast-changing global environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a work queue and secure that Purchase Orders are issued in due time
• Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement
• Manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, resolve issues pertaining to invoicing/payment
• Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
• Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
• Maintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contract management systems
• Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities
• Strong collaboration with global and local project management and the operational material requirements planning team to achieve most effectiveness in planning, alignment and execution
• Continuously monitor own procurement list, follow up on execution such as order confirmation, progress, compliance with quality requirements
• Support and ensure compliance with transportation and customs requirements in close collaboration with Logistics team
• Provide weekly interval schedule progress reports
