Job summary

Adecco is assisting a major client in Orlando, FL, in hiring a Project Buyer Expeditor for a contract role with weekly pay. The position focuses on tactical procurement execution for multiple projects, including expediting and performance management.

Responsibilities include PO issuance, supplier management, and collaboration with project management teams. Requires SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and 3+ years in direct procurement; shift is Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of direct procurement experience.
• Strong SAP transactional experience.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Team player who can work independently to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a work queue ensuring Purchase Orders are issued on time.
• Oversee a portfolio of suppliers; negotiate price increases and resolve invoicing/payment issues.
• Support Supplier Management processes (qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification).
• Maintain documentation and systems for online purchasing and contract management.
• Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities.
• Collaborate with global/local project management and MRP teams to optimize planning and execution.
• Monitor procurement lists and track order confirmation, progress, and quality compliance.
• Provide weekly interval schedule progress reports.
