Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Burgaw, NC. This independent contractor role focuses on ongoing store support and project-based merchandising, with a pay rate of $14–$16 per hour based on market and experience.

You will stock, replenish and merchandise to brand standards, execute displays and resets, build strong relationships with store teams, and report through mobile tools. Flexible hours and project-based work define this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb and move throughout retail environments.
• Comfortable using handheld devices and reporting apps on smartphones.
• Experience in retail, merchandising or consumer goods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotions with accuracy.
• Build strong relationships with store teams and management.
• Ensure planogram compliance and correct product placement.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and feedback using mobile tools.
• Communicate opportunities and project updates to teams.
• Manage schedules and store visits to meet deadlines.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives.
