Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule site visits for C&I, Multifamily and Residential customers.
  • Confirm project scopes of work with customer and records.
  • Conduct inspections to document building conditions and energy measures.
  • Verify energy measures meet program quality standards.
  • Provide design and technical assistance on energy measures.
  • Support scope development with customers.
  • Offer technical guidance for onsite issues.
  • Develop inspection reports with findings and action items.
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to resolve discrepancies.

TRCAdvanced Energy is seeking a qualified individual to support commercial and industrialenergy efficiency anddemand managementprograms inNew York.Responsibilitiesmay includeenergy analysis, site inspections, technical writing, and project management for multiple commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects and/or customers.Candidates must possess strong technical capabilities including knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency,demand management,greenbuildingand sustainability. The desired candidate will work collaboratively withthe Advanced Energy team andclients toprovide fieldsupport and implement market transforming programs that encourage energy efficiency across the Northeast.

The candidate will be presented with the challenge of a diverse range of projects found in commercial and industrial energy systems.There will be significantinterfacewith clients that may require travel. The position requires the ability to manage projects, and lead, direct, and coordinate the work of team members (internal and external) of varied backgrounds.This position requiresflexibility;diversity of technicalexpertise;strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communicationskills;and excellent customer care skills.The candidate will rely on experience and judgment to plan andaccomplishgoalsand performa variety of complicated tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule site visits with C&I, Multifamily, Residential customers;
  • Confirm project scopes of work with customer and confirm that scopes match project applications and records;
  • Conduct inspections to document existing building conditions, operations, and schedules and to identify potential efficiency measures;
  • Conduct inspections to verify that the energy efficiency measures meet program quality standards;
  • Provide design and technical assistance to projects and recommend relevant energy efficiency measures;
  • Provide customer support with the energy efficiency work scope development;
  • Provide technical guidance and support in addressing onsite issues;
  • Develop inspection reports that summarize on-site findings and include photographs and action items to resolve discrepancies;
  • Work with customers and contractors to resolve discrepancies identified on site
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree (Engineering/Technical Preferred), or at least four years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in construction, energy engineering, or related building science field;
  • Established critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Established presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong computer skills: proficiency in MS Office and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license in the State of New York is strongly preferred; position entails travel, mostly within New York City.

LocalTravel Required: Up to75%

Compensation

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
