Type: Part-time; 20-hours/week. Temporary.

Duration: January 25, 2027 to April 30, 2027

About InnovateEDU

InnovateEDU catalyzes education transformation by bridging gaps in data, policy, practice, and research to center the needs of the field in accelerating innovation towards an equitable, inclusive and radically different future for all learners.

Position Overview

InnovateEDU is seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable Project Associate for a part-time, temporary role covering a maternity leave. Serving as a crucial bridge between projects, this role will support the Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA), Pathways Alliance, and InnovateEDU. Working closely with project directors and organizational leadership, the Project Associate will drive program management for key initiatives, while managing weekly newsletters, HubSpot email marketing, social media, website updates, and report writing.

The ideal candidate thrives on managing multifaceted projects, coordinating diverse stakeholders, and moving seamlessly between high-level content development and hands‑on operational delivery. Whether drafting key publications (such as case studies and compendiums), supporting webinars, or event logistics, you excel at keeping moving parts organized and aligned. If you are a proactive communicator and skilled multi‑tasker passionate about advancing access and innovation across the education and policy ecosystem, this temporary opportunity offers a meaningful way to drive collective impact.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Program Support
  • Support the program team in executing grant deliverables by tracking project plans via Asana. Manage project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address challenges.
  • Under the direction of the EALA/ Pathways Alliance project leads, you will develop agendas and track progress for various workstreams.
  • Project manage the Data Whiz work for InnovateEDU, collaborating closely with the Director of Programs and the Data Whiz Steering Committee to organize an event in April 2027.
2. Content Creation, Marketing & Communications
  • Build and distribute newsletters and manage social media postings across projects using HubSpot.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing and Communications department to maintain project websites.
  • Build presentation decks and provide comprehensive preparation and day‑of operational support for webinars across projects.
3. Research, Writing & Resource Development
  • Research, write, and manage the review cycles for various publications and resources, which will include resources such as:
    • Pathways Compendium updates
    • Technical Assistance (TA) Cohort Common Themes & Findings Report
    • Principal Registered Apprenticeship Program (PRAP) Case Study Summary
    • Timestamps and upload EALA podcasts
4. Event Coordination & On-Site Operations
  • Coordinate with the Finance and Operations teams to handle event management and logistics for events.
Compensation & Qualifications
  • Compensation: This is a part-time and temporary position. The compensation range is $20-$30 per hour, determined by a third-party market analysis based on skills, experience, and location.
  • Travel: This role does not require travel.
