Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and project management for residential and multi-unit housing developments.
• Develop design concepts, detailed drawings, and specifications for new builds, renovations, and extensions.
• Manage client relationships, consultations, and presentations throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Role Our client, a reputable architectural practice known for its innovative residential designs, is seeking a dynamic Project Architect to lead projects in Welkom, Free State . This role is central to the design and delivery of high-quality residential developments, ranging from individual luxury homes to multi-unit apartment complexes and housing estates. You will be responsible for managing projects from initial concept development through to construction administration, ensuring design integrity, client satisfaction, and project profitability. Requirements

• Proficiency in architectural design and BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent understanding of South African building codes, planning regulations, and construction methods for residential developments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a project team.
• Experience working in Welkom or the Free State is advantageous.
• Professional registration with SACAP (PrArch) is required.
