Job summary

Bespoke Careers is seeking a Project Architect for a Manhattan-based design firm to lead multi-family residential projects in NYC, with a hybrid work environment and flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate has a professional Architecture degree, at least 5 years post-graduate experience, deep knowledge of NYC codes, and proficiency in Revit. Licensure due within 6–9 months is preferred, with strong communication and client liaison skills.

Qualifications

• A professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch/M. Arch) or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant post-graduate experience.
• Strong knowledge of architectural practice and construction.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills for use in an interactive design team environment.
• Local NYC CA experience is required.
• Strong familiarity with NYC building codes is required.
• Understanding of all phases of a project including construction administration.
• Licensure is required or will be achieved within 6-9 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management, design and build of a variety of projects, including multi-family residential.
• Serve as the primary consultant and client liaison to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
• Oversee and coordinate all project deliverables through all phases.
• Coordinate work with a variety of consultants.
• Provide leadership to junior staff.
• Participate in bid period and construction administration services.
