Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Architect for our Atlanta Design studio to influence the future of federal facilities. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, coordinate architectural deliverables, and own design quality within a federal contract framework. The role blends studio leadership with hands-on project delivery.

The position requires at least 8 years of architectural design experience, U.S. citizenship, and an RA license, with proficiency in REVIT and Office tools.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a NAAB-accredited program (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 8 years of architectural design experience.
• Registered Architect (RA).
• Proficiency in REVIT.
• Proficiency in standard Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design effort as a Designer of Record for architectural projects, including schedule, budget, and quality control.
• Coordinate and develop deliverables and manage a portion of a project.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work within the project budget.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, mechanical, civil, interiors, and fire protection engineers.
• Mentor junior staff and provide staff development and quality reviews.
• Perform construction administration and field investigations, manage RFIs and Submittals.
