Job summary

Bespoke Careers is seeking a Project Architect to lead the technical delivery of small to mid-sized projects from design through construction. You will work with clients, designers, project managers, consultants, development, and construction teams to deliver coordinated design and construction documents on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of architectural experience, strong leadership, and a thorough understanding of building codes, constructability, and project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • 8+ years of architectural experience leading project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, building codes, construction documentation, detailing and constructability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Bluebeam experience preferred; LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architects and designers through the design process, coordinating project goals, milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop complete and accurate design and construction documents, with responsibility for detailing and documentation through the construction phase.
  • Lead design, consultant, and project team meetings and coordinate communication across project stakeholders.
  • Resolve complex technical issues, lead code and regulatory reviews, and support project approvals.

Job description

An architecture and design practice is seeking a Project Architect to lead the technical delivery of small to mid-sized projects from design through construction. This role will work closely with clients, designers, project managers, consultants, development, and construction teams to deliver coordinated design and construction documents on schedule. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of building codes, constructability, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architects and designers through the design process, coordinating project goals, milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop complete and accurate design and construction documents, with responsibility for detailing and documentation through the construction phase.
  • Lead design, consultant, and project team meetings and coordinate communication across project stakeholders.
  • Resolve complex technical issues, lead code and regulatory reviews, and support project approvals.
  • Manage QA/QC processes, coordinate specifications, and mentor junior staff while maintaining design excellence, execution, and sustainability goals.
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture required.
  • 8+ years of relevant architectural experience with a track record of leading project teams and delivering small to mid-sized projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, building codes, construction documentation, detailing, and constructability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Bluebeam experience preferred. LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification is a plus.
