Job summary

Burke Special Projects seeks an Architectural Project Manager to lead tenant improvement projects from design through construction administration at our Las Vegas-based team. You will own drawings, permitting, and code compliance while coordinating with our in-house design group and field staff.

• Working knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting processes.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings/submittals and managing construction documents.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different sectors and scales.

Responsibilities

Our in‑house design team works hand‑in‑hand with construction operations, allowing us to move quickly from concept to permit to completed space without the delays and miscommunication typical of separate design and construction firms.

Job Summary

Burke Special Projects is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join our in‑house design team, managing tenant improvement projects from initial design through construction administration. This role bridges design and field execution owning drawings, permitting, and code compliance while staying closely engaged with our field team through construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural scope from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration
• Coordinate with clients, internal design team, field/construction staff, subcontractors, and consultants
• Manage entitlements, permitting, and code compliance across a variety of project types
• Conduct site visits and construction observation
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for the field team's design and drawing questions during construction
• Track project scope, schedule, and any design‑related change orders
• Client‑facing communication and progress reporting as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture

• Experience across a range of project types (office, retail, food and beverage, light industrial)
• Familiarity with local AHJ processes and relationships with local plan reviewers
• Experience with BIM coordination
