Job summary

DLR Group, an integrated design firm, is seeking an Architect to manage project document development and coordination for complex projects in the Charlotte area. You will partner with the Project Manager to ensure financial health, document quality, and timely delivery across design disciplines.

Responsibilities include leading production teams, applying BIM standards, QA/QC, and collaborating with engineers, interior designers, PMs, and consultants to develop technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 7–11 years of professional architecture experience.
• Professional experience working on public projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply practice standards and maintain design and technical skill sets across project deliverables.
• Ensure BIM standards are applied, QA/QC procedures are followed, and clash detection issues are resolved.
• Plan, design, and coordinate projects of varying sizes with advanced architectural concepts and techniques.
• Coordinate drawings and specifications with the specification writer and assist in preparing sections.
• Review cost estimates for design alignment and manage time with the project work plan.
• Engage peers and specialty experts for holistic solutions and participate in client presentations.
