kevin daly Architects (kdA) is a Los Angeles design practice known for public and institutional buildings that bring award-winning contemporary design into everyday life. Our work spans civic, institutional, housing (affordable and residential), and workplace projects, including mass timber, with active work in California, New York, Texas, Arkansas and New England.
Our studio has substantial shop facilities, and model-making is central to how we design. It drives our focus on craft, construction systems and material research, and on the relationships between research and fabrication, material and form, and sustainability and livability. We're looking for people who share that perspective: curious, articulate, and as interested in history, typology and the formal characteristics of architecture as in the practical work of developing and documenting buildings.
