Job summary

MSA Design, a Cincinnati-based architecture and design firm, seeks a Project Architect/Designer to join the downtown Cincinnati studio. You will collaborate with Design Leadership to advance design excellence across diverse projects, contributing to master planning, production, and client engagement.

Requirements include 5–10 years of experience, professional architectural licensure (or in process), and a degree in Architecture.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience and possession of a professional license to practice Architecture.
• Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Experience or interest in working on legacy projects with an enduring impact on communities.
• REVIT/BIM fluency is required.

We are seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of Project Architect / Designer based in our downtown Cincinnati studio. This staff member will work directly with our Director of Design Strategy and Senior Design Leadership to collaborate and advance design excellence on projects within our portfolio.

General Characteristics and Experience for candidates:

• 5-10 years of experience and possession of a professional license to practice Architecture. Candidates who are in the process of testing for their professional license, but not yet registered, will also be considered.
• Bachelors and / or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Experience or interest in working on legacy projects that have an enduring impact on their communities, regardless of project type or size. We encourage candidates to review our website portfolio at www.msaarch.com for examples of our work.

• REVIT/BIM fluency is required, and the ability to adapt to the latest software tools and resources required to practice Architecture and Design in the 21st century.
• Experience in using the latest presentation software (Adobe, Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.) to assist in site/master planning, visioning, design packages, and being a part of project design & production teams.
• An understanding of Sustainability and possession of necessary certifications (LEED AP, BD+C, WELL, etc.)
