Job summary

MSA Design is seeking a Graphic Designer for its downtown Cincinnati studio, delivering visual identities, signage, wayfinding and experiential graphics for diverse client projects.

You will prepare production-ready files for fabrication, print and digital use, collaborating with architecture, interior design and marketing teams, and supporting junior designers through mentoring and shared production standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or fine art preferred.
• 3–6 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Experience in experiential graphics, signage, wayfinding, or built-environment projects.
• Experience in Sports, Hospitality, Commercial, or Education design is a plus.
• Strong typography, layout, color, and composition skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

MSA Design, an award-winning architecture, interior design, historic preservation, and graphic design firm with offices in Cincinnati and Columbus, is seeking a Graphic Designer for our downtown Cincinnati studio.

This role supports client and internal projects through developing visual identity, experiential graphics, signage, wayfinding, branding, and marketing design.

What You’ll Do

• Develop visual identities, signage, wayfinding, branding, and experiential graphics for client projects.


• Prepare production-ready design files for fabrication, print, and digital use.


• Collaborate with graphic design, architecture, interior design, and marketing project teams.


• Participate confidently in client-facing conversations, presentations, and coordination meetings.


• Mentor junior designers through project collaboration, feedback, and shared production standards.


• Collaborate with department directors and firm principals on client work, internal branding initiatives, external marketing campaigns, and print design.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Fine Art preferred.


• 3–6 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in experiential graphics, signage, wayfinding, or related built-environment projects.


• Graphic design experience in Sports and Entertainment, Hospitality and Commercial, or Education Design a plus.


• Strong design skill set, including typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and composition.


• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud; SketchUp proficiency is a plus.


• Comfort engaging with clients, consultants, and internal teams.


• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to support and mentor junior designers.
