Actalent is seeking an Architectural Designer / Project Architect for a contract-to-hire role in Grandville, MI. You will lead design development, documentation, and coordination with clients and project teams, balancing hands-on design with project leadership to meet client goals, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities include developing and reviewing construction documents, floor plans, elevations, and details for commercial projects, with emphasis on coordination and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit for design, documentation, and coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and construction drawings.
• Experience in commercial architecture projects, not residential.
• Strong ability to develop and review construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee design development, documentation, and coordination with clients and teams.
• Balance hands-on design work with project leadership to meet goals, budgets and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver quality construction documents.
