TONO Architects LLC in Lancaster, PA seeks a licensed Architect with substantive experience to lead project design, documentation, and client management, in collaboration with engineers and our team.

The role is full-time, based in Lancaster with occasional travel to West Chester and other regional locations. Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office is required. NCARB license and 10+ years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold NCARB-accredited Architecture license.
• 10+ years of professional architecture experience and project management.
• Proficient in Revit, Enscape, Adobe CS, and MS Office.
• Experience rendering with Revit/Enscape or similar.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of residential and commercial projects.
• Develop projects with TONO Group directors.
• Perform field verification and site measurements.
• Coordinate project documentation and create construction drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and clients and manage schedules.

TONO Architects is seeking a licensed Architect with substantive applicable experience to join our skilled & motivated team. As an Architect at TONO, you will be responsible for leading project design, documentation, and client management processes in collaboration with consulting engineers and our team.

TONO Group is a family of companies on a mission to create meaningful places. We transform the built environment through architecture, construction, décor procurement, development, and real estate stewardship. TONO Architects, LLC has an immediate full-time opening for a creative, self-motivated, and technically proficient Architect. Position will be based in our Lancaster office with occasional travel to our West Chester location, as well as other regional travel.

Requirements:

• NCARB Accredited Architecture License
• 10+ years of professional experience and project management at an architecture firm.
• Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe CS, and MS Office.
• Experience in rendering with Revit & Enscape or similar programs.
• Experience with project management software is desired.
• Detailed knowledge of building code, construction details, assemblies, and building systems.
• Knowledge and experience in assembling a complete set of construction/permit documents.
• Flexible, innovative, self-motivated, team-oriented.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with TONO’s Executive Team, as well as manage projects including schedules, manpower, and task delegation to team members & consultants.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead design of residential and commercial projects.
• Work with TONO Group Directors to develop projects.
• Assist in field verification, including site measurements and record documentation.
• Coordinate project documentation and creation of construction drawings.
• Manage coordination with consulting engineers and clients as needed.
• Develop details and specifications as required for permit drawings.
• Assist with project scheduling and design milestones.
• Code and Compliance review as required by local jurisdictions.
• Review of submittals & RFIs during construction.
• Mentor junior staff and cultivate a culture for quality deliverables.

Our innovative practice requires continuous collaboration with the team in both office locations, so occasional travel between locations will be required.
