Job summary

Alloy Architecture in Wichita seeks a Project Architect to join our design-focused team. You will develop architectural designs and produce drawings and documentation through all project phases, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to meet program requirements.

Candidates should have a 5-year architecture degree, 3–7 years of firm experience, and an active architectural license, with strong communication and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Revit and related tools is essential, LEED

Qualifications

  • 5-year degree in architecture from an accredited university.
  • 3–7 years of experience in an established architecture firm.
  • Must have Architectural License.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office 365; AutoCAD Architecture, SketchUp, Enscape, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • LEED certification is a plus.
  • Experience in K-12 and healthcare architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design: Preparing initial sketches, drafting design plans, and working with clients and stakeholders to ensure the design meets their needs.
  • Construction Documents: Producing complete, detailed construction documents, such as floor plans and elevations.
  • Construction Administration: Administering the construction phase of the process, including shop drawing and submittal review, site observation and reporting.
  • Coordination: Coordinating the needs of the client with the work of designers, technical staff, and consultants.
  • Communication: Communicating with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to keep them updated on the project’s progress.
  • Quality Control: Maintaining quality control by checking construction documents, shop drawings, submittals and other project documents.

Job description

Alloy Architecture is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Project Architect. Candidates must have strong architectural design and technical skills along with the ability to handle a variety of tasks. At Alloy Architecture, you will work as part of a team to develop architectural designs and produce drawings and documentation throughout all project phases.

Job Description And Responsibilities

  • Construction Administration: Administering the construction phase of the process, including shop drawing and submittal review, site observation and reporting

  • Communication: Communicating with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to keep them updated on the project’s progress

Our project architects must be responsible, self-motivated, conscientious, and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. They must also be capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting strict project schedules.

Job Requirements
  • Completion of 5-year degree in architecture from an accredited university.
  • 3-7 years of experience in an established architecture firm.
  • Must have Architectural License,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • Proficiency with Autocad Architecture, Trimble Sketchup, Enscape, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • LEED certification is a plus.
  • Experience in K-12 and healthcare architecture is a plus.
