Job summary

LDDBlueline is seeking a Project Architect (licensed) or Project Leader (non-licensed) to drive technical execution from concept to completion. You will ensure quality documentation, coordinate with consultants, and mentor junior staff in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, licensure (preferred), and at least five years of experience in technical project delivery. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

• Architectural license (preferred) with a minimum of five years of experience.
• Progressive experience supporting and leading technical project execution.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and coordination.
• Working understanding of building codes and industry standards.
• Proficiency in software used by the firm, including Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and meet deadlines.
• High level of professionalism, initiative, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and execution of projects across all phases.
• Produce and oversee high-quality, coordinated construction documents aligned with firm standards.
• Ensure design intent is accurately translated into technical documentation.
• Coordinate drawings, specifications, and consultant work for consistency and quality.
• Maintain compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and constructability standards.
• Lead design and technical reviews for key projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing technical insight.
• Proactively identify and resolve design, coordination, and performance challenges.
• Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Architect (licensed) / Project Leader (non-licensed) to drive the technical execution of our projects from concept through completion, documentation, and quality across project phases. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the details, ensures quality and coordination, and can bridge design intent with real-world constructability.

• Lead the technical development and execution of projects across all phases

Travel:

• This position will involve travel to client sites. In addition, occasional travel to other LDDBlueline offices will be necessary for training and planning.

Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000

Actual compensation may vary depending on factors including but not limited to education, licensure, etc.
