Job summary

REO—a boutique residential design studio—seeks a Project Architect with 5–10 years of experience to join our team. The candidate should be skilled in coordinating detailed drawings, producing 3D models, and guiding projects from concept through construction.

Proficiency in ArchiCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. The role requires strong design sensibility and the ability to collaborate across disciplines in a small office setting near Port Chester.

Project Architect

REO, an award wining custom residential design studio, seeks a thoughtful and motivated Project Architect to join our growing team. Our practice is focused on design excellence across a range of styles from traditional to modern. Applicants at this level should have 5 - 10 years of experience. A background in high end custom residential architecture is preferred.

Qualities and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or Master of Architecture Degree required.
• Experience working concept through construction with a high level of proficiency and attention to detail.
• Comfortable and confident with your ability to put together a coordinated set of drawings.
• Organized with the ability to multi task and potentially work on multiple projects of varying scales, in various phases of development.
• Understanding of Residential Building Codes.
• Professional Registration or in process of working towards it.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Candidates should be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership abilities while working as part of a team. The ability to think creatively throughout all phases of a project from concept through construction is essential, along with an enthusiasm for design, detail and craft. Proficiency in ArchiCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. Ability to sketch or otherwise convey concepts or ideas through hand drawing preferred.
