Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering and architectural design. From its headquarters in St. Louis, MO, and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S., Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate and financial industries.

Project Architect (St. Louis, Missouri)

At Trileaf Corporation, we design spaces that support local businesses—retail establishments, restaurants, office spaces, fitness clubs, and many more. As a Project Architect, you won’t just document buildings—you’ll lead teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and shape infrastructure that matters.

We are seeking a seasoned Project Architect with strong project management skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage the lifecycle of a project, from gathering information, preliminary design, construction documents, permitting, and construction. You would work alongside MEP engineers and construction managers to ensure design intent is maintained, deliverables meet quality standards, and projects stay on track from design development through construction.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the efforts in gathering information on the existing conditions and dimensions of proposed lease spaces, leveraging Trileaf’s internal Site Survey team.
  • Lead the technical development of projects from schematic design through construction documents.
  • Mentor internal architecture teams, coordinating workflows and maintaining quality across all project phases.
  • Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural engineers.
  • Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building system integration using AutoCAD.
  • Research and apply applicable codes, standards, and building technologies.
  • Support construction administration with responses to RFIs, submittals, and field observations.

Some travel (<10%) will be necessary for this role, in performance of Construction Administration responsibilities.

Who We’re Looking For
  • Licensed architect with advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and a deep understanding of building systems and detailing.
  • In lieu of an Architectural license, applicants who are within six months of sitting for the exams are also welcome to apply.
  • 5+ years of architectural experience, including experience in multi-site prototype-driven retail sites.
  • Excellent coordination skills with consultants and familiarity with QA/QC processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-driven mindset.

The listed salary range for this position is an expected range. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, geographic location, and current market data.
