Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a licensed Architect to join our Toledo, OH team.

Our talented architects collaborate closely with clients throughout the design process, offering services from preliminary planning to final construction inspection across various markets including commercial, education, municipal, and retail sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project fee preparation, scoping, and marketing strategies.
• Ensure designs comply with code requirements.
• Create full set construction documentation.
• Research materials, collaborate with manufacturers on costs and selection.
• Coordinate with Project Manager for quality assurance and control.
• Work with in-house or external design professionals.
• Attend client meetings and document minutes.
• Review RFIs and submittals.
• Contribute to proposal and client presentation materials.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Conduct site visits for construction administration.
• Assist in work planning and budgeting.
• Engage directly with clients for project coordination and feedback.
• Represent the project on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of architectural experience.
• Registered Architect in Ohio or near licensure within 6 months.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Mentoring skills are a plus.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
