Job summary

Framework Architects is seeking a Project Architect in Minneapolis to lead project teams, develop documents, and drive design solutions for outpatient, multi-tenant, and office projects.

You will mentor staff, manage scopes and collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited architecture program.
  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience.
  • Registered Architect in Minnesota (or pursuing licensure).
  • Proficiency in Revit; AutoCAD preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu or related programs.
  • Proven success in working with a team and balancing client needs.
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, construction, systems and site requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with design for outpatient clinics or multi-tenant, office and commercial clients is a plus.

Description

We are a small but growing team, in need of a Project Architect. At Framework, we pride ourselves on listening to our clients and being creative in our solutions, while clearly communicating and moving quickly to meet deadlines. Our clients come back to us because they appreciate our practical approach and the results we provide. We are looking for a licensed architect (or pursuing licensure) who communicates well, possesses strong technical expertise, and is motivated to lead projects and support team members in a collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate has experience with design for outpatient clinics or with multi-tenant, office and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the project team to execute plans and develop project documents during all project phases.
  • Participate in client meetings, effectively communicate design concepts and technical solutions.
  • Oversee code analysis, quality assurance, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Mentor and support project team members, promoting accuracy and efficiency in project documentation.
  • Manage and clearly communicate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal team members to achieve project goals.
  • Well organized with effective time-management skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in working with a team and balancing client needs
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with design for outpatient clinics or experience with multi-tenant, office and commercial clients is a plus
