Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is seeking a Project Architect to join our team, making a difference with clients, building users, and the community in one of our exciting markets. Candidates should be a Licensed Architect (or possess equivalent experience) with experience in workplace or interior architecture projects.

The Project Architect is responsible for most phases of the technical development of a project. They will work under the direction of a Project Manager, independently evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria, and use judgment in assignments with clear and specified objectives. Responsibilities include writing reports and specification sections, reviewing submittals, observing architectural features in the field, and assisting in the coordination of consultants.

Responsibilities

1. Licensed Architect or equivalent experience
2. Collaborate with the project team and assist in delegating tasks
3. Assist project manager with designated tasks and functions
4. Lead the team in architectural techniques and procedures
5. Demonstrate high proficiency in BIM techniques and applications
6. Participate in various project responsibilities, including documentation and detailing
7. Self-direct project work and proactively engage in tasks
8. Contribute to energy and sustainability strategies
9. Assist with or prepare project specifications
10. Perform and review QA/QC processes
11. Review submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and observe on-site construction
12. Support and coordinate with consultants
13. Engage regularly in owner and contractor communications
14. Mentor and lead staff development

The Fine Print

1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
