Job summary

InForm Architecture in the United States is seeking a talented Project Architect to lead design development and contract documents for a diverse portfolio. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to realize tailored solutions reflecting community needs.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience, licensure preferred or pursuing licensure, and proficiency in Revit, with knowledge of Michigan Building Codes and specifications. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 5–10 years of experience, minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in community-based, faith-based, educational and residential project types.
  • Licensed Architect preferred, or in active pursuit of licensure.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Technical knowledge of Michigan Building Codes and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop design documents and detailed contract documents from schematic design through completion.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to refine schematic design to align with goals and vision.
  • Use industry-standard design software to communicate and produce construction documents.
  • Lead and/or participate in design and document reviews, incorporating feedback to finalize project details.
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards while aligning with sustainability and innovation.

Position Overview

We're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Architect to join our team. In this role, you'll lead the design development and contract document production for diverse set of projects, collaborating closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to bring tailored solutions to life. The ideal candidate is passionate about construction science, professional growth, and collaborative endeavors, and will have a background in community-based, faith-based, educational and residential project types.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop design documents and detailed contract documents, taking projects from schematic design through to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to refine schematic design, ensuring alignment with project goals and client vision.
  • Use industry-standard design software to communicate effectively and produce construction documents.
  • Lead and/or participate in design and document reviews, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize project details.
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards while aligning with the firm's commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture from an accredited institution (professional degree).
  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably within community-based, faith-based, educational and residential project types.
  • Licensed Architect preferred, or in active pursuit of licensure.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Technical knowledge of Michigan Building Codes and specifications.
