Job summary

Fortis Industries, Inc. DBA - LTS, Inc. is seeking a Project and Contract Management Specialist to support the Hanford Field Office in Richland, WA.

This full-time, on-site role reports to the Program Manager and focuses on contract actions and coordination with SMEs, Estimating, Legal, and DDs. You will develop change orders, track deliverables, review contractor invoices, maintain files, and lead contracting meetings, while ensuring compliance with FAR and DOE requirements. U.S.

Qualifications

  • DOE project and contract management knowledge is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contract management support, including preparation, coordination, revision, and tracking of contract actions and related correspondence for SMEs and Division Directors.
  • Research, analyze, and provide input on potential and existing contract actions, including change processes, duplicate claims, and negotiations.
  • Develop and serve as primary liaison for technical analysis review packages involving SMEs, Estimating, Contracts, Legal, and DDs.
  • Coordinate contract actions with Hanford Field Office and related organizations, including cost estimating, procurement, and support staff.
  • Manage contract deliverables, draft letter responses, maintain project files, and facilitate contracting meetings with updated change tracking logs.
  • Maintain and update the work breakdown structure dictionary.
  • Develop change order packages, including notifications, letter responses, and government estimates.
  • Support contractor invoice reviews and task order efforts (scoping workshops, RFTPs, proposal evaluations, and tracking progress).
  • Coordinate CPARS evaluation input at the project level by scheduling technical input sessions with SMEs, DDs, and support staff.
  • Coordinate with project lead scheduler to maintain an updated schedule for pre-negotiation memo packages.

Project and Contract Management Specialist

Project and Contract Management Specialist supports the Hanford Field Office and reports to the Program Manager. This position is 100% on-site.

Street Legal is currently seeking a full-time Project and Contract Management Specialist to join our project in Richland, WA.

This position will provide support in the following areas:

  • Provide contract management support, including preparation, coordination, revision, and tracking of contract actions and related correspondence for SMEs and Division Directors.
  • Research, analyze, and provide input on potential and existing contract actions, including change processes, duplicate claims, and recommendations for negotiations.
  • Develop and serve as primary liaison for technical analysis review packages involving SMEs, Estimating, Contracts, Legal, and DDs.
  • Guide and coordinate contract actions with functional and project-related organizations within Hanford Field Office, including cost estimating, procurement, and support staff.
  • Manage contract deliverables, draft letter responses, maintain project files, and facilitate contracting meetings with updated change tracking logs.
  • Maintain and update the work breakdown structure dictionary.
  • Develop change order packages, including notifications, letter responses, and government estimates.
  • Support contractor invoice reviews and task order efforts (scoping workshops, RFTPs, proposal evaluations, and tracking progress).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education – BS/BA degree in a relevant field of study. Five years of experience may be substituted for BS/BA degree. Minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including:
    • Experience with DOE project and contract management.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and FAR Supplements.
  • Working level knowledge of DOE IDIQ End State Contracts.
  • Working level knowledge of DOE Prime Contract Invoice Review Process.
  • Working level knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities.
  • Working level knowledge of DOE Hanford processes and procedures.
  • Working level knowledge of DOE's project and contract management practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn/use other technology management tools employed at Hanford.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent communication responsiveness and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Documented work experience on their resume that clearly supports all minimum qualifications and demonstrates the capability to successfully perform the tasks outlined in the SOW.
  • Due to the nature of government contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Pay Range:

$144,000 - $192,000 per year
