Job Description: Persistent Technology Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Analyst/Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in roles involving IT database applications, database installations and configurations, or IT program administration. This role is contingent upon award and will focus on testing IT service management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge of IT systems, applications, and project lifecycle methodologies is essential.
2. Strong communication skills, the ability to conceptualize and document complex IT requirements, analytical problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
3. Conduct testing within environments focused on modernization and process improvement, specifically within service management contexts.
4. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and system performance.
5. Identify and document software defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
6. Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases and updates.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing activities align with project objectives and deadlines.
8. Provide recommendations for improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
2. 3 to 5 years of experience in testing IT service management tools, with a preference for industry certifications such as CISA, ITIL Foundations, or PMP.
3. Experience consulting with customer management to gather and analyze requirements.
4. Experience developing IT standards and procedures.
5. Experience researching and recommending new technology.
6. Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
