Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Project Analyst to support construction projects at the Naval Reactor Facility. You will assist in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6, manage resources, and monitor budgets, cost control, and performance against plan.

The role requires coordinating with project teams and stakeholders, managing procedures and guides, and overseeing project information in IWMS and SharePoint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience, or Master's degree and 2+ years.
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting, cost control and risk management.
  • Proven ability to analyze performance to plan and communicate results.

Responsibilities

  • Support construction projects at the Naval Reactor Facility with planning and scheduling.
  • Utilize Primavera P6 for scheduling, and manage resources and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance, change control, and risk management activities.
  • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders; manage SharePoint and IWMS data.

Job Description

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Project Analyst to support construction projects for the Naval Reactor Facility! Areas supported will include: project planning and scheduling utilizing an Integrated Master Schedule in Primavera P6, resource management, budgeting and cost control, measuring project performance, change control, risk management, coordination and integration of project team efforts, communication with project stakeholders, portfolio management, development of procedures and guides, management of SharePoint sites, and management of project information in other business systems (e.g., Integrated Work Management System).

Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$70,900.00 - $108,500.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards, satellite, and vendor locations.

For more than 75 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier fleets. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is a national asset solely dedicated to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. We rely on the dedication and innovation of our nearly 8000 engineers, scientists, technicians, and support personnel.
