Job summary

Qualifications

  • 5 years of analysis experience in the labor category, with recent work within the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrates mission knowledge and completion of required developmental training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage GFS Tech Refresh schedule and priorities aligned with DIA CIO goals.
  • Track hardware inventory levels and coordinate vendor meetings on IT requirements.
  • Coordinate and track completion with Logistics & CIO on shipping and installation projects.
  • Provide IT requirements management across the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and perform risk analyses to keep projects on schedule.
  • Recommend decision criteria and prioritize resources for leadership.
  • Provide GFS customer engagement, outreach, and relationship management.
  • Conduct technical exchange meetings and management reviews.
  • Provide project analysis and post-project performance reviews.

Brief Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Project Analyst to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Chief Information Officer. This position manages the planning, coordination, and execution of IT hardware refresh cycles for Defense Attaché Offices (DAOs), Defense Intelligence Agency Liaisons (DIALs), Operating Bases (OBs), and other CONUS and OCONUS locations worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Manage GFS Tech Refresh schedule and priorities, incorporating immediate concerns balanced with long-term DIA and CIO strategic goals
  • Track GFS hardware inventory levels and coordinate vendor meetings on GFS-specific IT requirements
  • Coordinate and track completion with Logistics & CIO personnel on current shipping and installation projects
  • Provide comprehensive IT requirements management support throughout the project lifecycle including identification, documentation, analysis, tracking, and validation of project requirements
  • Establish and perform risk management analysis to ensure projects remain on schedule and external dependencies are identified ahead of resource commitment
  • Recommend decision criteria and prioritization of resources including but not limited to hardware and labor to Government leadership
  • Provide GFS customer engagement, service, and support, including but not limited to customer outreach, briefings, and relationship management
  • Conduct and facilitate technical exchange meetings and management reviews
  • Provide project analysis and post-project performance review to capture lessons learned and improve processes
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI (CI Poly Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • 5 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category
Travel Requirements
  • Travel will be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.
Level Of Responsibility
  • Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs.
Level Of Supervision Required
  • The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.
Work Environment
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.
  • Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.
  • This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
