Job summary

Sysco is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support senior project management staff in delivering strategic initiatives. You will help build schedules, manage artifacts, and keep stakeholders informed with regular status updates.

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus experience with project management tools and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with Excel and SAP-like Office suites is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years in project management, coordination, or analytics roles.
• PM certification such as CAPM or PMP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project schedules and artifacts.
• Produce weekly status reports and update stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings and publish minutes to drive actions.
• Manage risks, issues, and change requests with the team.
• Onboard third-party resources and track resource loads in WorkDay.
• Support senior PMs and assist with deliverables and milestones.

Deliver specific project artifacts, as directed by the Program Manager. Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Essential Functions: Build and maintain project schedule. Produce weekly status reports. Execute on deliverables as directed by Project Managers. Coordinate and schedule project related meetings to resolve risks, issues, 6or requests for scope change. Capture and publish project meeting minutes. Maintain collaboration site and artifact repositories, including risks and issue lists. Submit and track project purchase requests. Update resource assignments and allocations in WorkDay. Onboard third-party resources to specific projects. Continuously learn and research new techniques and methodologies to solve project-related issues. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Coursework toward Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with project management tools and methodology. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of project management experience in a project management, project coordinator or project analyst role. CAPM/PMP or similar certification. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. Experience with Agile Methodology. Demonstrated ability to lead or host presentations and facilitate meetings.
