Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a finance analyst to support hardware and consumer electronics teams with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and reporting. You will partner with Procurement, Sourcing, Accounts Payable, and program management to build reliable, recurring reports and automation.

The role emphasizes hands-on spend tracking, AI-enabled process improvements, and clear communication of financial insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in spend tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity or resource analysis.
• Background in prompt engineering, AI agent development, or workflow automation.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills with large workbook modeling and reporting.
• Experience presenting financial analysis to senior non-finance stakeholders.
• Process improvement with AI to enhance end-to-end business processes.

Location: Fully remote working core PT hours

Duration: 1 year contract, 2.5 year tenure limit

Project: Consumer Electronics, hardware team

Compensation: $45-55/hour

Project: Forecasting and analysis for hardware/consumer electronics teams

Desired Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in spend tracking, budgeting and forecasting, and capacity or resource analysis, ideally supporting an engineering, hardware, R&D, or manufacturing organization.
• Practical background in prompt engineering, AI agent development, or workflow automation tooling.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and large-workbook modeling, with a demonstrated ability to build reporting that others rely on.
• Proven ability to present financial analysis to senior non-finance stakeholders.
• Process improvement with AI — practical prompt engineering experience and the ability to think beyond prompting to improve business processes end to end.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

This role supports engineering teams across the full budget lifecycle — planning, forecasting, accruals, and reporting. The coordinator serves as a trusted point of contact for budget owners, partners closely with Procurement, Sourcing, Accounts Payable, and program management, and builds the recurring reporting and automation that the organization relies on.
