Job summary

NIDEC Defense Group in Canton, OH seeks a project coordinator to serve as the single point of contact for project management. You will review drawings, specifications and surveys for elevator shop drawings and verify quotations for local and national code compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate across a variety of platforms, verbal and written.
• Fluid in Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Capable of handling multiple jobs in various stages of progress.
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related area
• 1-3 years of experience in a construction or manufacturing industry – preferred but not required
• Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction industry
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow general guidelines and processes.
