Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Mount Vernon, Indiana is seeking a Project Administrator to support the project management team onsite. You will manage contract portfolios, conduct financial analyses, and coordinate with customers on Purchase Orders, Invoices, and contract requirements.

The role reports to the Project Manager and participates in risk management and meetings. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office;

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience or a minimum of 6 years of related experience in a technical manufacturing environment will be accepted in lieu of education requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of team and as an individual contributor and communicate effectively to both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a collection of individual contracts within a larger program under the Project Manager and fellow Project Administrators.
• Perform regular financial analysis and review of assigned contracts.
• Analyze financial performance to monthly and annual projections; modify projections as needed.
