Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a detail-oriented Project Assistant to support SCADA Engineering, Testing & Commissioning operations for utility and power infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes coordination, Excel proficiency, and thorough documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Onsite position with no remote option, candidates should bring strong organizational and communication skills and be comfortable supporting technical field-based projects through meticulous scheduling and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree plus some relevant experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Onsite position only – no remote or hybrid option.
• Eligible for flexible 9/80 schedule.
• Background check required prior to start.

• Track and verify project report submissions using Excel spreadsheets
• Attend client meetings and support ongoing project communication
