Job summary

EMH&T is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead project-based accounting, overseeing AP/AR, client invoicing, and financial reporting for a civil engineering environment. The role reports to the Director of Accounting and partners with Project Managers and department leaders to ensure accurate, timely project financials.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or equivalent degree.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, collections, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Project Managers and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project billing, accounts receivable, and client collections.
• Oversee cash receipts, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage Deltek Vantagepoint configurations and data integrity.
• Coordinate with PMs on project profitability and WIP analysis.
