Job summary

Ouzinkie Native Corporation offers a year-long internship that provides hands-on exposure to project accounting within a federal contractor environment. The intern will perform general project accounting support and gain experience with billing, revenue recognition, and journal entries under supervision.

Expect 30 hours per week with benefits tied to the standard benefits program; training will cover project setup, data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Ouzinkie Native Corporation Shareholder or descendant.
• 10-Key experience or the ability to learn.
• Experience using general office equipment including industry standard computer software.

Responsibilities

• Clerical office support (word processing, copying documents, faxing, filing, etc.).
• Process Bills for commercial and government contracts.
• Setup Projects per contractual requirements.
• Project related journal entry processing.
• Project related analysis reconciliations.
• Participate in special assignments and/or training, as requested.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
