Walker Consultants is seeking a proactive Project Accounting Assistant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role supports project Accountants and helps ensure our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

You will process AP invoices, employee expenses, and daily cash receipts while assisting with internal travel reporting and vendor setup for ACH payments. The role emphasizes organization, independent work, and collaboration within a growth-focused team.

• Advanced computer skills required to learn and utilize accounting/project management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized with multiple projects and tasks

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Obtained or currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or 1-3 years of applicable work experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced computer skills required to learn and utilize accounting/project management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized with multiple projects and tasks

Compensation & Benefits

At Walker Consultants, we are committed to maintaining fairness and equity in our pay practices. For this role, the estimated base salary range is $42,000 – $52,000 per year. The final salary offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
