Walker Consultants in Portage, MI is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. You will review timesheets, maintain payroll records, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with HR to ensure data accuracy.

The role offers a hybrid schedule after onboarding and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, retirement, and paid time off. A strong eye for detail and 1–3 years of payroll experience are preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in Payroll, Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ year of data entry experience preferred, ideally in payroll or accounting.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Type: Full-time regular (40 hours per week; M-F)

Your Role at Walker

Work Environment

• This role typically operates in an office environment, with occasional travel required for meetings or training sessions.

• A hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office) schedule is available after initial training and onboarding.
