Job summary

Westminster seeks a project accountant to support multiple development projects from construction through completion. You will manage A/P coding, bank reconciliations, and monthly draw packages while ensuring cost controls align with the budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2 years of project accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with Yardi Construction preferred. This is an on-site position in Florham Park, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 2 years of project accounting experience preferred for commercial real estate development.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Yardi Construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete weekly bank reconciliations for project accounts.
• Review coding and input of accounts payable to ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare monthly accounts payable listing and reconcile to the trial balance.
• Provide data to the Controller for invoices and checks to maintain cash control.
• Coordinate with construction team to ensure budgets and expenditures are accurate.
• Prepare draw schedules and draw packages; reconcile entries for audits.
• Monitor job cost reports and reconcile with project costs to date.
