Job summary

Razor Consulting Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Project Accountant for a 12-month assignment supporting a large-scale public-sector technology program. You will be responsible for day-to-day financial execution, budgets, actuals, forecasts, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.

You will partner with Program Managers, vendors, and finance stakeholders to reflect project performance, manage costs, and provide data-driven insights for informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of project management processes and controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and manage cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project budgets, actuals, forecasts, and EAC per contract.
• Ensure changes are reflected in project financials and funding.
• Support month-end closings with reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare internal project financial reports and analyses for stakeholders.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and contract compliance.
• Support invoicing, vendor cost management, and revenue tracking.
