Job summary

Alimak Group USA Inc is seeking a Project Accountant to manage financial aspects of projects from inception through completion. You will handle revenue recognition, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting in collaboration with project managers and finance.

The role requires strong POC experience, project costing, WIP analysis, and proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Office based in Webster, TX with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of project accounting experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on POC revenue recognition experience.
• Experience with construction, industrial projects, or manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for multiple projects across stages of completion.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses.
• Perform monthly POC calculations using approved methodologies.
• Ensure revenue and cost recognition compliance with policy and standards.
• Prepare monthly WIP schedules and project financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain project data in ERP systems and improve reporting tools.
