Job summary

Keller Management Services, LLC is seeking a Project Accountant to support financial management for Keller North America projects. You will ensure accurate job cost reporting, revenue recognition, billing support, and robust internal controls across project setup to closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation or CCIFP designation is a plus.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, engineering, project-based, or multi-location environments.
• Experience with project accounting, job cost accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes.
• Working knowledge of project accounting principles and revenue recognition (IFRS 15 or ASC 606) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, esp. advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and complex formulas.
• Strong ERP system skills and ability to learn new technologies (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Viewpoint, JD Edwards).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid and contract reviews with financial input on terms, costs, cash flow, and risks.
• Own job cost integrity including accurate capture and coding to contract scope.
• Manage revenue recognition (IFRS 15 or ASC 606) including progress measurement and change orders.
• Oversee billings, collections, and AR performance to support cash flow.
• Partner with PMs on forecasting (EAC/ETC), variance analysis, and margin tracking.
• Lead and participate in weekly/monthly project reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support lien and insurance processes with appropriate certificates and documents.
• Lead branch-level month-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and cut-offs.
• Provide variance analysis and management reporting for the branch.
