Job summary

Keller North America is seeking a Project Accountant to support financial management of project portfolios. The role partners with Project Managers, Field Operations, and Finance leadership to ensure cost capture aligns with contract scope and that financial reporting is timely and accurate.

Responsibilities include reviewing bids, managing job costs, revenue recognition, AR and cash flow, and contributing to monthly close, audits, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation or CCIFP certification in progress is a plus.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
• Experience with project accounting, job cost, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and monthly close.
• Knowledge of IFRS 15 or ASC 606 revenue recognition preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Proficient with ERP systems and quick to learn new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid and contract reviews with financial input.
• Own job cost integrity and accurate cost capture.
• Manage revenue recognition per IFRS 15 or ASC 606.
• Oversee billings, collections, and AR performance.
• Partner with PMs on forecasting, variance analysis, and margins.
• Lead weekly/monthly project reviews and risk/opportunity identification.
• Support month-end close and internal controls.
