Job summary

Stadler US is seeking a Project Accountant to oversee the financial performance of projects from initiation through closeout. The role ensures accurate costing, budgeting, billing, and reporting, delivering timely insights to drive successful outcomes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2–5 years in project-based accounting, with strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Deltek). On-site role in Utah.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Monitor project costs, labor, materials, and expenses; investigate variances.
• Prepare and process project billing including progress/milestone/cost-plus billing.
• Review contracts for financial/compliance requirements.
• Track revenue recognition per GAAP or IFRS.
• Prepare project-related financial reports and margin analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial guidance.
• Ensure timely project closeout, final billing and cost reconciliation.
• Support audits with project documentation.
