Job summary

BW Design Group, part of Barry-Wehmiller, seeks a skilled Project Accountant to support manufacturing projects and deliver high-quality financial insights. You will partner with leaders and technical teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost tracking, and forecasting while maintaining client invoicing and timely collections.

Joining a collaborative environment, you will contribute to month-end processes, KPI tracking, and financial analyses that influence project profitability.

Qualifications

• Relevant financial or accounting experience (preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of financial practices, processes, and systems (corporate environment).
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet monthly closing and project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as financial gatekeeper for project revenues, costs, and margins.
• Provide project finance support and analysis to local offices and region.
• Ensure project set‑up complies with GAAP and finance guidelines.
• Forecast revenues and margins; input finalized forecast into ERP system.
• Review monthly revenue/cost recognition following GAAP.
• Prepare, review, and issue client invoices and drive timely collections.
• Analyze project risks and advise on reserves and profitability.
