Job summary
SecureStrux is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. You will serve as a key connection point between Accounting, Operations, Program Management, Contracts, and other functional teams to ensure project financial information is accurate, complete, and timely.
The role covers the accounting and financial administration of projects from setup through completion, including project structure, funding, invoicing support, revenue recognition, and project financial
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project accounting or project finance experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects with various funding changes.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition and WIP.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and PMs.
Responsibilities
- Own project setup and maintenance within accounting systems.
- Review contracts, funding, and change orders to keep systems aligned.
- Track budgets, spend, labor, and project profitability.
- Support revenue recognition and project-level journal entries.
- Ensure accurate client invoicing and billable labor capture.
- Assist with month-end close and reconciliations across systems.
- Work with Project Managers to allocate costs and track issues.
