Job summary

Reitman Personnel is assisting a premier architectural glass and metal contractor in Branford, CT, seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant. You will manage the full lifecycle of project finances from setup and budgeting to invoicing and close-out, ensuring contractual compliance and financial health for glazing projects.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, prepare complex invoices (AIA billing), and track lien waivers while maintaining accurate project lists and records.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with Accubuild (training provided)
• Strong Excel data-entry and spreadsheet skills

Responsibilities

• Set up projects and enter information in accounting software
• Prepare and process client invoices, including AIA billing
• Track lien waivers and manage receivables
• Support administrative and financial tasks as needed
