Job summary

Brock Solutions Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team of professionals. You will manage project accounting workflows, open and close projects in the ERP, and work with project managers to prepare timely customer billings and documented support.

This role handles WIP forecasting, cost transfers, change orders, receivables collection, and multi-currency transactions. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus; experience in professional services is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Math, Economics, or college equivalent.
• Extensive experience populating and analyzing financial and project data using Excel.
• Experience with using AI to optimize tasks is an asset.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV software would be beneficial but is not required.
• Experience in a professional services business would be beneficial but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform project accounting function including opening (closing) projects within the accounting system.
• Work with Project Managers to prepare timely and accurate customer billings and supporting documentation.
• Engage in WIP process including activities such as project forecast, WIP reconciliation, project cost transfers, change order updates, and adjustments.
• Assist in collection of receivables.
• Works with transactions involving multi-currency and tax considerations.
• Assist in responding to external auditrequirements.
