Job summary

Brock Solutions Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team of professionals.

You will handle project accounting activities, open and close projects in the ERP, and work with Project Managers to prepare timely customer billings and supporting documentation. The role involves WIP forecasting and reconciliation, assisting in receivables collection, handling multi‑currency and tax considerations, and supporting external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Math, Economics, or college equivalent.
• Extensive experience populating and analyzing financial and project data using Excel.
• Experience with using AI to optimize tasks is an asset.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV software would be beneficial but not required.
• Experience in a professional services business would be beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform project accounting function including opening (closing) projects within the accounting system.
• Work with Project Managers to prepare timely and accurate customer billings and supporting documentation.
• Engage in WIP process including activities such as project forecast, WIP reconciliation, project cost transfers, change order updates, and adjustments.
• Assist in collection of receivables.
• Works with transactions involving multi-currency and tax considerations.
• Assist in responding to external audit requirements.
