Job summary

RealREPP is partnering with a growing MEP Design Build Construction firm to recruit a Temp to Hire Project Accountant in undefined location. The role focuses on compiling, analyzing, and reconciling monthly project billings and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of project accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong communication skills. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years’ of project accounting experience preferred
• Strong accounting knowledge
• Strong organization skills with high level of attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements.
• Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget.
• Manages vendor compliance, insurance, lien waivers, retention and W-9s
• Produces and analyzes job performance and profitability through jobs cost tracking reports.
• Assists in preparation of status reports and maintains accurate project statuses and budget information in COINs.
• Identifies and resolves basic and more complex project-related accounting issues and resolves in a timely manner.
