What's your day like?

As a Full-Time/Exempt Project Accountant at Sentrillion, you will be overseeing the day-to-day financial administration of direct projects, ensuring smooth operations between accounting and project management. Your responsibilities will include preparing, processing, and remitting compliant invoices while fostering effective communication with the Company's customers to facilitate timely remittance of amounts due. You will maintain and distribute routine Accounts Receivable reports and manage tasks within the cost accounting system (Deltek Costpoint), ensuring accurate project and workforce setup. Your role will require vigilance in maintaining data integrity across the cost accounting system and departmental filing systems.

Additionally, you will reconcile project funding and costs, providing regular and ad-hoc financial analysis. Supporting project forecasting and budget reconciliation will be pivotal, along with timely reporting of any financial risks and compliance checks for project expenditures and employee expense claims in line with contract requirements and corporate policies.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business finance or accounting; or four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and project accounting experience as a substitute.


• Five years of experience in a project accounting function in support of a U.S. federal contractor.


• Proficiency in utilizing accounting software Deltek/Costpoint is required.
